Find fun and creative ways to spend with your grandchildren. And children/grandchildren need to find time to spend with their grandparents. It's very important to make memories so you have them for the future. Take lots of pictures and videos and don't be shy to get involved.

Be creative and find ways to spend with your grandchildren, just open your mind. Think about what they do every day. One thing you can do is schedule a time to have lunch with your grandchild, at school or at home. Bring them their favorite lunch and maybe throw in a little surprise treat! Make it a picnic! The kids love to do this.

If your grandchildren play sports try and go to a few games. They love to look in the stands and see their own fans! Cheer loud and say their names. Boost their self-esteem. This feels good for both the grandchild and grandparents.

Have your family come to your home or go to theirs. Go for a walk to a nearby playground or park. Be sure to wear comfy shoes so you can play tag or pirates or whatever fun games the grandkids come up with. Enjoy the sunshine and nature. One day I went to the park with our 2 youngest grandsons, and we found a squirrel peeking out of a tree. My son in law had some nuts so started feeding it. It came out and ran around and waited to be fed. The boys absolutely loved it.

Find time and days that have no schedule. Just play. No plans. Laugh, tickle, talk with your grandkids. Listen.
